Ibanez is manufactured and operated by Hoshino Gakki. The company began manufacturing guitars way back in 1957 and is one of Japan’s most iconic and long-established brands. It has been particularly popular among metal and rock musicians.

The model we’ve just received is a 4-string from the EHB series, Ibanez’s iconic headless line. It features a stunning gradient finish, though some fading has given it a more mature, sophisticated look.
The materials include a mahogany body with a poplar burl top, a 9-piece neck combining Panga Panga and walnut, and a Panga Panga fingerboard with 24 frets. Panga Panga is a very hard wood known for its clear sound. This instrument features a prominent grain pattern on the fingerboard, giving it a vivid appearance reminiscent of wenge wood.
It is equipped with Nordstrand pickups. While headless basses often lack low-end punch, this model more than makes up for it with its powerful sound. The controls include Volume, Balancer, 3-Band EQ, and Mid Frequency, plus a toggle switch for EQ bypass, making it exceptionally versatile.

There appear to be a few small dents scattered across the front of the body, but there are almost no signs of wear.
The neck is also in excellent condition. The truss rod functions perfectly.
