Alongside the LG series, the L-00 is the quintessential small-body Gibson acoustic guitar. Although based on a pre-war design, it has been appreciated across generations for its comfortable playability and moderate volume that complements vocals.
This particular instrument is a model from the Original Collection that features a vintage-like appearance while incorporating modern specifications such as a slim-tapered neck and a built-in pickup.
There is a history of crack repair on the top, extending from below the bridge to the body end. The crack has been glued, and a crack stopper has been installed on the inside of the top; however, since the finish has not been touched up, the repair marks are noticeable. Aside from this crack repair, there are some very fine dents and minor scratches, but they are not particularly noticeable.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been tested to move 60 degrees in both directions. The frets have been dressed and show no dents, with approximately 90% of their original height remaining. Both playability and sound are excellent.
Given the existing cosmetic damage, this is a guitar you can play without hesitation.
