This is a 2006 Golden Era Series reissue of Martin’s 1937 000-18.

The slim, compact 000 body shape provides excellent responsiveness, making it a guitar that sounds great even during technical performances.
Featuring a rare Adirondack spruce top and carefully selected mahogany for the sides and back, its simple design has won over many fans.

While well-suited for singing and accompaniment, it is also highly recommended for fingerstyle playing. For lead playing, it produces a sound that is delicate yet full-bodied, with a very powerful tone.
The nut width is approximately 44mm, and the string action at the 12th fret on the 6th string is about 2.3mm, making it very comfortable to play.

The string action is properly adjusted for comfortable playing. The frets have been leveled, and the fret height is currently at about 80% of its original height.
The neck has been straightened. The binding on the neck taper has been repaired where it had come loose.
There is slight peeling visible at the top corner of the pickguard. There are also minor scratches and dents typical of a used instrument.
It has a powerful sound and is easy to play—highly recommended.
