USED VEGA / OLDE TYME WONDER [03]

We’ve received a shipment of the American-made Deering VEGA “OLD TYME WONDER BANJO.” It is believed to have been manufactured in the late 2000s.
VEGA is one of America’s leading banjo brands. VEGA became part of the Martin Company in 1970 and was acquired by what is now Deering around 1985. Since then, it has continued to produce banjos, albeit in limited numbers, up to the present day. This OLD TYME WONDER model evokes the early 1900s, the heyday of open-back banjos.
The fingerboard from the 17th fret onward is designed with a low profile, making it ideal for crowhammer playing. While the overall design is vintage in style, it is crafted with functionality in mind.
Open-back banjos of this solid construction are rarely found in Japan, so if you’ve been searching for one, don’t miss out on this opportunity! Comes with the original hard case.
While it has minor dents, some tarnish on the metal-plated parts, and minor wear, its playability and tone are excellent.
