USED MATON / EMD6 Diesel Special MINI MATON [03]

We have received a used MATON/EMD6 Diesel Special.

Since this model features a straight saddle, it is likely a pre-2023 model—before the specification was changed to a split saddle.

It is a compact mini-guitar that delivers impressive volume and a clear, high-resolution tone.
The top is made of AA-grade spruce, while the sides and back are crafted from AA-grade blackwood.
The fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony. It is equipped with an AP5-Pro pickup, allowing you to tailor the sound to a variety of genres.

As for its condition, while there are some minor scratches, dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts, it is considered to be in relatively good condition.

There is some swelling on the top beneath the bridge (“top lift”).
The string action is set to 2.3 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret, ensuring good playability.
There is still plenty of saddle and fret life remaining, and there is ample room in the truss rod slot, so fine adjustments are possible.
Condition Grade B+: Some scratches are present, but the guitar is in good condition for normal use.
