The 2013 L-5 Lee Ritenour Signature is now in stock!
A signature L-5 model from jazz and fusion legend Lee Ritenour.

Featuring a 16-inch body—slightly smaller than the standard L-5 (17 inches)—and a 24 3/4-inch Gibson scale, this model offers excellent playability.
Finished with the same thickness as an ES-175, it offers enhanced resistance to feedback.

The top is solid Sitka spruce, the sides and back are figured flame maple, and the 5-piece neck (maple with a walnut center stripe) features an ebony fingerboard.
It is equipped with a floating-type “Lollar Johnny Smith Pickup,” which produces a warm, clear tone characteristic of jazz and fusion.

Overall, there are signs of wear, including minor scratches and dents, weather checking due to age-related paint thinning, cracks in the binding in various places, and tarnished hardware.
Additionally, the lettering on the label inside the soundhole has faded, making the serial number and other details difficult to read.

Cracks caused by paint thinning due to age are present on the top of the headstock, the veneer on the back of the headstock, the seam in the center of the body back, the neck joint, and various areas of the binding.
In addition, there is a slightly larger step in the binding around the cutaway, but this does not currently pose any issues for playing.

The neck has a slight twist; however, when the 1st string side is adjusted to be straight, the 6th string side becomes slightly bow-shaped, but this is within a range that does not affect playability.

This instrument features beautiful flame grain on both the neck and the back of the body, making it stand out from any angle. Built in 2013—a highly sought-after year—it is a rare, high-end model with limited availability on the market!
