Crafted in a Japanese workshop under the design and supervision of J.W. Black, a former Fender Custom Shop master builder, this highly popular brand delivers excellent value and outstanding playability while staying true to his design philosophy and sound.

It features the classic combination of an ash body with a maple neck and fingerboard. The neck is relatively thin, offering exceptional playability.
It features a realistic “Medium Aged” finish—said to have been devised by Black himself—which, combined with a thin lacquer finish, achieves both the look and sound of a guitar that’s been played for many years.

It is equipped with custom pickups designed by the artist himself. These deliver a well-balanced output across the low to high frequencies, and the nuances and dynamics of your picking are faithfully reflected in the sound.
The front pickup produces a sweet, full-bodied tone, while the bridge pickup delivers a crisp, driven sound, creating a vintage sound that beautifully balances richness and clarity.

Since the guitar has been aged, the details of any later scratches are unclear, but pick marks and other playing wear are visible in key areas.
