The Thunderbird Bass is one of Gibson’s iconic bass models. Its unique body shape, the rich, resonant low end produced by its long scale, and its striking presence on stage are what make this model so appealing.

This instrument was manufactured in 2019. It features a traditional through-neck construction with a mahogany body, a 9-ply mahogany/walnut neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, equipped with T-Bird pickups. The rich, resonant bass sound characteristic of the Thunderbird, combined with the subdued Tobacco Burst finish, further enhances this model’s distinctive presence.

Regarding condition, there is a dent on the headstock side, and the body has dents and scratches from normal use. There is a slight crack in the tone knob. None of these issues affect playability or normal use; they are simply signs of wear that can be seen upon visual inspection. * Linear scratches are visible on the fingerboard surface near the 16th to 21st frets, but since the frets overlap these areas, we believe they have been present since the instrument was new.
The bridge has been replaced, and as a result, the finish beneath the bridge has turned white (mounting marks).

The neck is in good condition, and there are no issues with the truss rod. It is in a condition that allows for trouble-free playing.

This is a highly recommended instrument for those who want to fully enjoy the distinctive character of a Gibson. It’s a must-have not only for those looking for a bass that stands out from the crowd but also for anyone who has long admired the Thunderbird.
