A used FURCH GUITARS G-23CR Cutaway has arrived.

Based on the serial number and information about other instruments from the same era, it is believed to have been manufactured in the late 2000s, though the exact year of manufacture is unknown.

This is a Grand Auditorium model crafted by Furch, the Czech Republic’s leading acoustic guitar brand. The body, which balances ease of playability with rich volume, features a cutaway design that provides excellent playability even in the higher frets.

This guitar is characterized by the excellent response and warm, mellow tone unique to a spruce top. It responds quickly even to the lightest touch and is well-suited for a wide range of playing styles, from delicate fingerpicking and arpeggios to expressive strumming.

Regarding its condition, there are some dents, scratches, and tarnish on the metal parts, and it shows signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age.

There is a very slight bulge visible beneath the bridge on the top. Additionally, there is a crack in the pickguard. Please note that the instrument will be sold as-is with these conditions.

The neck has been straightened using an iron at our in-house repair center. Currently, there are no major issues affecting playability, though it shows a slight tendency to bow forward. The string action has been adjusted to approximately 2.7 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret.

We have confirmed that the truss rod moves up to approximately 40 degrees in the tightening direction. The frets have been leveled; there are no significant irregularities, and they have approximately 70% of their original depth remaining.

In addition, our repair center has replaced the nut and saddle, re-glued the fingerboard, and re-glued the bracing. We have performed appropriate adjustments and repairs on all parts to ensure the instrument is in playable condition.

In addition to a non-original hard case, the original nut and saddle (prior to replacement) are included.
