For customers residing in Japan
This is a rare Gurian J-R (Jumbo Rosewood) made in New Hampshire, USA. Based on the serial number, it is believed to have been made around 1976–1977.
The J-R is one of Gurian’s signature models—a jumbo-style acoustic guitar that combines a spruce top with rosewood sides and back, offering a rich, resonant tone. It features Gurian’s unique body shape, distinct from larger jumbo models like the Gibson J-200.
Gurian guitars from the 1970s are now rare on the market. With its unique design and meticulous craftsmanship, this instrument offers the dignified character of a guitar that has stood the test of nearly half a century, along with Gurian’s signature delicate and three-dimensional sound.

The pickguard has been reattached where it had come loose. The bridge has been restrung. The nut has been replaced and the grooves have been filled and adjusted. The truss rod is designed to be adjusted from the soundhole side, but the hole for inserting the wrench is slightly misaligned.
There are also numerous dents and scratches.

アメリカ・ニューハンプシャー州で製作された、Gurian(グリアン)の希少なJ-R(Jumbo Rosewood)です。
