A used GUILD/SONGBIRD NT has arrived.

The “Songbird” was a distinctive thin-bodied electro-acoustic guitar that Guild produced in the 1990s. Based on its serial number, this particular instrument was confirmed to be manufactured in 1993 during the USA/Westerly era.

Key specifications include a solid spruce top, a hollowed-out thin mahogany body, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

It is equipped with a pickup and an onboard preamp, and supports line output to amplifiers and PA systems.

As for its condition, there are numerous dents, scratches, and scuffs across the entire body, as well as discoloration, cloudiness, and rust on the hardware. Additionally, cracks in the wood are visible in several places, and the guitar shows significant signs of wear overall.

There is slight warping visible on the top.

The neck has a very slight forward bow. The string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.0 mm on the 1st string side; the guitar is currently playable.

The truss rod has been tested to move up to 60 degrees in both directions, and there are currently no issues with its adjustment function.

We have performed a fret leveling adjustment at our shop. The frets are currently at a playable height, with approximately 60% of their original material remaining.

Regarding the electronics, there is an issue where continuous noise occurs when connecting to an amplifier or other equipment. The cause of the noise has not been identified, and the electronics are sold without warranty. Please be aware of this in advance.

A non-original hard case is included.
