With an "E" serial number, this guitar is believed to have been manufactured between 1984 and 1987—a true classic from the early days of Fender Japan. Based on a '62-style Stratocaster, it features a 3-way selector switch and U.S.-made pickups, resulting in a design with a strong vintage feel.

The classic Stratocaster sound, delivered by an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, is another major draw. The unique look and feel of the 3-way selector—distinct from today’s 5-way configurations—is also a standout feature.

The E-serial period is among the most popular within the 1980s Fender Japan lineup. This is a highly recommended guitar that lets you enjoy the unique atmosphere of a Japanese-made vintage instrument!

There are some scuff marks on the body.
There are playing scratches on the pickguard.
Some metal parts show signs of tarnish.
Additionally, it appears the back panel has been replaced.
Although it currently features a 3-way selector switch, a 5-way selector switch is included.

After this item arrived at our facility, we restrung it with new strings and our repair department performed a thorough cleaning, maintenance, and setup on all components.
