USED J.W.BLACK / JWB-JP-JB V Old Candy Apple Red [03]

We’ve just received a vintage-style 5-string JB model in our used inventory!

"J.W. Black Guitars" was founded by J.W. Black, who previously served as a master builder at Fender’s Custom Shop.

The model we’ve just received is the 5-string JWB-JP-JB V, manufactured in Japan under his supervision.

Featuring an alder body and a rosewood fingerboard—a classic combination reminiscent of the ’60s—this guitar delivers a satisfying sound with a rich, resonant midrange that feels great to play.
The neck has a slim profile and offers excellent playability.

Currently, both the neck condition and the truss rod function are in good order.
Upon arrival, the truss rod nut was crushed, causing the neck to bow forward; therefore, our partner repair shop replaced the affected part, refinished the truss rod adjustment area, and performed neck straightening and leveling.
There are dents and dings on the body, and some paint chips on the headstock.
