USED Fender Japan / JB62-58 Sunburst [03]

We've just received a used FENDER JAPAN JB62-58!

Based on the serial number, this guitar is believed to have been manufactured around 2002–2004.
The JB62-58 is a classic Fender Japan model inspired by the Jazz Bass from around 1962. Featuring a basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard—a classic ’60s-style Jazz Bass—this instrument, combined with its 3-Tone Sunburst finish, offers a truly classic vibe. It features the standard Jazz Bass configuration with simple 2-volume, 1-tone controls.

In terms of condition, the parts show some signs of wear. There are dents and scratches on the lower part of the body and around the control panel, and the instrument shows overall signs of use. The truss rod is in good working order and functions normally. The included case has a malfunctioning zipper on the bottom—that section does not open—but the top zipper works fine. Please note that the exterior has scratches and damage resulting from use.

If you’re looking for a classic Jazz Bass sound—one that isn’t overly influenced by any specific style—and the classic 3-Tone Sunburst look, this is definitely a guitar worth considering.
