A 2006 Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Standard Reissue with a mahogany top has arrived!
While the standard 1957 Goldtop model features a maple top, this model is crafted with a luxurious one-piece mahogany top. It also features a one-piece mahogany back, resulting in an all-mahogany construction.

It features a deep-jointed solid mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and the neck shape is the “Early 50s Rounded Tom’s Profile,” which offers a solid grip.

It is equipped with “Burstbucker 1 & 2” pickups. The combination of a moderately aged, vintage-like tone and the sweet, woody tone—with emphasized mid-to-low frequencies unique to the “all-mahogany construction”—creates an exquisite sound balance that is clear yet slightly rich and mellow.

While there are scattered minor scratches and dents throughout, there is no significant damage, and considering its age, it is in good condition. Additionally, there is a crack in one of the control knobs, and the hardware shows some clouding and minor rust in places.

The neck is in excellent condition, and there is ample fret life remaining.

This is a rare model featuring a one-piece mahogany top. The fingerboard has a deep color, and it’s a wonderful instrument with a wonderfully woody impression in both appearance and sound!
