USED FENDER USA / American Vintage '62 Stratocaster Black “Thin Lacquer” [03]

We've just received a used FENDER USA American Vintage '62 Stratocaster "Thin Lacquer"!

Made in 2002.
The American Vintage series faithfully reproduces the specifications of vintage guitars to a high standard and continues to inspire numerous successor models to this day.
Furthermore, based on Fender’s dealer database, we have determined that this model is a “Thin Lacquer” version—a limited edition released by the official importer at the time—featuring a thinner lacquer finish than the standard model.

It reproduces the construction of the ’62 Strat—an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard—delivering clear, beautiful highs, rich harmonics, and a warm, full-bodied midrange.
The neck features a slim C-shape and offers a playing feel that is very similar to that of modern guitars.

Although the pickups on this guitar were replaced at one point, the original pickups are currently installed.
Additionally, while the selector switch has been modified to a 5-way, the original 3-way selector switch is included.

There is some paint chipping and dents near the jack on the body.
There are several small dents on the back of the body.
However, there are no issues with its playability, and you can use this guitar with confidence.

After this item arrived at our store, we restrung it with new strings and our repair department cleaned, maintained, and set up all parts.
