USED YAMAHA / Attitude 10th Anniversary Purple Metallic 2000 [03]

We have received a used “10th Anniversary Purple Metallic” signature model from Billy Sheehan, the world-renowned bassist for Mr. Big.

Billy Sheehan has influenced countless bassists with his overwhelming technique and one-of-a-kind playing style. This limited-edition model was produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the YAMAHA Attitude series, which has become synonymous with his name.

This instrument is one of only 300 produced worldwide, with the serial number 98/300. In addition to its vibrant Purple Metallic finish, the top of the body features Billy Sheehan’s autograph, giving it a special touch befitting an anniversary model.

It features an alder body and a maple neck. Equipped with DiMarzio pickups, it delivers the powerful bass and dynamic sound that have become Billy Sheehan’s trademark.

The unique layout—featuring a front woofer pickup and a rear split-coil pickup—is another major feature of this series. Controls include front pickup volume, front pickup tone (Hi-Cut switch), and rear pickup volume (Stereo/Mono switch). It covers a wide range from deep, rich bass to a crisp, punchy attack, making it a rock bass with an overwhelming presence.

The truss rod functions smoothly. As for the exterior, there are no noticeable scratches or major damage, and it remains in excellent condition considering its age.

In addition to its rarity—limited to 300 units—this instrument’s appeal lies in the special specifications unique to an anniversary model. We highly recommend this instrument not only to Billy Sheehan fans but also to anyone seeking deep, rich bass tones and a powerful, commanding rock sound.
