Airline / Pocket Bass 3/4 Sunburst 1962 is in stock used.

This is a pocket bass made by Valko in 1962, and is considered to be a rare first year production. This is the original model, although reissue models have been produced in Asia in recent years.
The assembly including the PU is original, and the Valtrol pickup under the bridge is in good working order.
The neck joint is stuck and cannot be removed, but the string height is high enough not to interfere with playing, but the bridge is at the bottom.

Numerous dents.
The binding is cracked and there is a tobacco smell.

Truss rod: No rod.

1962年、ヴァルコ製のポケットベースになりレアな初年度生産と思われます。近年アジア生産にてリイシューモデルが生産されておりますが、こちらはオリジナルモデルになります。
シングルラインのクルーソンペグが搭載されておりますが、3弦がダブルラインに交換されております。PU含めアッセンブリーはオリジナルで、ブリッジ下のヴァルトロールピックアップも正常に動作しております。
ネックジョイント部が固着しており外れない現状、プレイに支障が無い程度の弦高ですが、ブリッジは一番下まで下げた状態です。

打痕多数。
バインディングに割れ、タバコ臭がございます。
