Kirk Hammett Flying V Aged Ebony was produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces in 2012!

This is the Flying V that Kirk purchased in 1979 and has used in many of his performances.
Only 150 pieces were produced in total: 50 Aged & Signed and 100 Aged.

The actual guitar had already retired from the lineup after being played to the bone by the time it was released in 2012, but it has been reproduced to the ultimate extent, including the scratches and weather checks that were caused by playing it up to that point.

EMG-81 front pickup and EMG-H rear pickup.
One active hum and one single each, the key to Kirk's aggressive sound.
The headstock is slightly rounded and triangular, an exact replica of the 70's specs.
Kirk's particular settings, such as the gummed tape on the back, the modified Tune-O-matic bridge, and the escutcheon, as well as the nut width of 40 mm, the cracked part of the pickguard, and other precise work with detailed profiles shine through.

The frets are jumbo frets.
It appears to be almost unplayed and has over 90% remaining.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been checked at 90 degrees on each side, but it looks like it can still turn more than that.

There is some damage as it is over 10 years old, but since the original is aged, there are few parts that are noticeable.
The gummed tape is coming off in places and may have been repaired.

2012年に限定100本で生産されたKirk Hammett Flying V Aged Ebony！

カークが1979年に購入し、多くの演奏で使ってきたFlying Vをとことんまで再現したしぐネイチャーモデル。
Aged & Signedが50本、Agedが100本と、合計で150本のみ生産されました。

本人の実機は、発売された2012当時にはガンガン弾き倒され、既に一線を退いたギターでしたが、そこに至るまでの弾きこまれた傷やウェザーチェックの入り方など究極まで再現されています。

フロントピックアップにEMG-81、リアにEMG-Hを搭載。
アクティブのハムとシングル1発ずつという、攻撃的なカークのサウンドの肝となる仕様です。
ヘッドストックは少し丸みを帯びた三角で、70年代の仕様を正確に再現。
背面に貼られたガムテープやモデファイされたTune-O-maticブリッジ、エスカッションなど、カークのこだわりのセッティングはもちろん、40mmのナット幅、ピックガードの割れ部分など、細やかなプロファイルによる正確な仕事が光ります。

フレットはジャンボフレットを採用。
ほぼ弾かれていないようで、9割以上残っております。
ネックの状態も良好で、トラスロッドは左右90°ずつ確認しておりますが、それ以上まだまだ回りそうです。

10年以上経っているのである程度ダメージがございますが、元がエイジドなので大きく目立つような部分は少ないです。
ガムテープが所々剥がれかけており、補修されている可能性がございます。
