Gibson 1978 ES-345TD-SV Wine Red

This model was released in 1959 as a higher-end model of the ES-335, and was loved by many artists.

The body construction is the same as the ES-335, but the major features are the Varitone switch, double parallelogram inlays, and stereo use.

The 1978 model features the same burgundy finish, 3-piece maple neck, volutes on the back of the nut, Schaller metal keystone pegs, square label from 1977, sombrero control knob, Nashville Tune-O-Matic, Trapeze tailpiece, and hardware in gold.

This is the model that Chuck, who is well-known for his duck technique, was attracted to.
Two engraved numbered pickups are equipped.
The jack is stereo, and can be used as mono by sticking the jack halfway in.
It would be better to replace the jack with a mono jack for better usability, but as it is original, we did not dare to replace it.

The frets are original and about 70% of the fretboard is left.

Overall, there are scratches and dings commensurate with its age, but the burgundy color remains, and it is in good condition for this age and may be a good collectible.

ボディ構造は、ES-335と変わりませんが、大きな特徴として、ヴァリトーンスイッチ、ダブル・パラレログラムインレイ、ステレオ使用が上げられます。

1978年製モデルの特徴として、1976年からラインナップに加わった、ワインレッドのフィニッシュ、3ピースメイプルネック、ナット裏のボリュート、シャーラー製のメタルキーストーンペグ、1977年からのスクエア型ラベル、ソンブレロ・コントロールノブ、ナッシュビル・チューンOマティック、トラピーズ・テールピース、ハードウェアは、ゴールドでまとめられております。

見た目にも豪華な仕様で、ダック奏法でお馴染みの、チャックも減れこんだモデルでございます。
ピックアップは、刻印ナンバードを2基搭載。
ジャック部分はステレオ仕様となっており、ジャック半刺しで、モノラルとしてお使い頂けます。
モノラルジャックに交換したほうが、使い勝手は良いかと思いますが、現状、オリジナルですのであえて交換はしておりません。

フレットもオリジナルで7割ほど残っております、ロッドカバー上部割れあり

全体的に年代相応の擦り傷、打痕はございますが、ワインレッドカラーも残っており、この年代としては、状態は良くコレクションとしても良いかもしれません。
