Duo Sonic made in 1957 is now in stock!

Along with the Music Master, the Duo Sonic was first produced in 3/4 size as a Student model in mid-1956.
This one features the bright beige finish and an anodized pickguard, the coloring of the first period.

The difference from the Music Master is the logo on the head and the two pickups.
Unlike the Mustang released later in the year, the tailpiece is fixed, so there is relatively little tuning deviation and more sustain can be obtained.

The head is strat style with spaghetti logo and Duo Sonic decal.
The pickups are original with black bobbins on the front and replaced on the rear.
The pegs have been replaced with unmarked Cruson type.
The saddle is without groove for 5-6 strings and spiral saddle for 1-4 strings.

Music Masterと共に、1956年中期からスチューデントモデルとして3/4サイズで生産が開始されたDuo Sonic。
最初期のカラーリングである明るいベージュ色のフィニッシュ、アノダイズドのピックガードが特徴的な1本です。

Music Masterとの違いはヘッドのロゴとピックアップが2基搭載されている点。
後年発売されるMustangと違いテールピースは固定されているため、比較的チューニングのズレも少なく、よりサスティンが得られます。

ヘッドはストラトスタイルで、スパゲッティーロゴにDuo Sonicのデカールが貼られております。
ピックアップはフロントがオリジナルでブラックボビン、リアが交換されております。
ペグが刻印無しのクルーソンタイプに交換。
サドルは5-6弦が溝なし、1-4弦がスパイラルサドルが搭載されております。
