1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe Walnut is now in stock!

This Telecaster Deluxe with two humbuckers has been on the market since 1973.

Alder body with one-piece maple neck and black dot position marks. Only the neck has been refinished with all lacquer. There is a sticker mark on the back of the body and one touch-up.

The neck date is stamped "TEL-DELUX. 73" and the original pots are dated 73/74, suggesting that this guitar was made in early 1974.

The only decal seal on the head is "Fender TELECASTER DELUXE" and the pegs are the original Fender rotomatic type made by Schaller.

Two "Fender Original Humbacking Pickups" are mounted on the pickups, and although the date cannot be read properly, it can be confirmed from "XX74/XX7X" that they are from the 70s. The switch has conductive treatment.

The bridge is a die-cast chrome-plated 6-way saddle made exclusively for Telecaster Deluxe, and the knob is a sombrero type with an aluminum cap for "VOL/TONE". The joint plate is a 3-point stop with "F" engraving and serial number.

The condition of this model is typical of a well played vintage instrument, with many scratches and dings from use and stand burn on the body end. Also, 4 pots, switch, and jack have been replaced. The pickguard has some distortion, but it can be used without any problems. The frets are a little worn, but there is about 60% left, and we have confirmed that the truss rod turns in both directions without any problems.

The weight is 3.5kg, which is very light compared to other 70's guitars. The beautiful clean tone of the front and the sharp sound of the rear are wonderful.

1973年より市場に登場したハムバッカーを2基搭載した、テレキャスター・デラックス。

アルダー・ボディにワンピース・メイプル・ネック、ブラック・ドット・ポジション・マークを採用。ネックのみオール・ラッカーにリフィニッシュされております。ボディ裏ステッカー跡あり、1箇所タッチアップがございます。

ネック・デイトは「TEL-DELUX. 73」とスタンプされており、オリジナルのポットは73/74年のデイトから、1974年初頭に製作された個体であることが窺えます。

ヘッドのデカール・シールは「Fender TELECASTER DELUXE」のみで、ペグにはシャーラー製のフェンダー・オリジナルのロトマチックタイプを搭載。

ピックアップには「Fender Original Humbacking Pickup」を2基搭載し、デイトがうまく読めませんが「XX74/XX7X」より70年代の物であることは確認できます。スイッチ部に導電処理がされております。

ブリッジはテレキャスター・デラックス専用のダイキャスト製クロームメッキの6ウェイ・サドル、ノブは「VOL/TONE」のアルミキャップ付きのソンブレロ・タイプを使用。ジョイント・プレートは「F」刻印とシリアルナンバーの入った3点止め。

本機の状態は良く弾かれてきたビンテージに見られる、使用に伴う傷や打痕が多くボディエンドにはスタンド焼けがございます。また、ポット4点、スイッチ、ジャック交換。ピックガードに歪みがございますが問題なくお使いいただけます。フレットは少々減っておりますが約6割程度残っており、トラスロッドも問題なく両方向回ることを確認しております。

重量も3.5kgと70年代の他の個体と比べ非常に軽く、フロントの綺麗なクリーントーンやリアの切れ味の良いサウンドが素晴らしい1本でございます。
