Gibson Custom Shop / L-4CES Alnico V Vintage Sunburstが入荷致しました。
アーチトップ・ギターの「L-4C」のエレクトリック仕様として、1958年に製作された「L-4CE」と1957年から1959年にかけて製作された「L-4CES」。それぞれ少数のみ製作されており、「L-4CE」にはチャーリー・クリスチャン・ピックアップ、「L-4CES」にはアルニコVやハムバッカーが搭載されていました。
入荷した個体は、カスタム・クリムゾン設立前の2003年にカスタムショップにて製作されたモデルとなります。
サイド＆バックにマホガニーを使用することが多いですが、本機はフレイム・メイプルを使用した希少な一本。
また、アルニコVピックアップを搭載している点も大きな特徴となります。
その他のマテリアルはソリッド・スプルース・トップ、マホガニー・ネック＆エボニー指板。
細かな傷が散見されますが、目立つ傷は特に見受けられません。
ボディ・バックには細かな塗装クラックもございます。
ネック・コンディションは良好で、トラスロッドも十分に余裕がございます。
フレットは1&2弦下に弦の痕が見受けられる箇所がございますが、現状セッティングや演奏に支障はなく、高さ自体も十分に残っております。
純正ハードケース、認定証が付属いたします。

The L-4CE was an electric version of the L-4C archtop guitar, produced in 1958, and the L-4CES was produced between 1957 and 1959. Each was produced in small numbers, with the "L-4CE" equipped with Charlie Christian pickups and the "L-4CES" with Alnico V and humbuckers.
The model we have just received was made in the Custom Shop in 2003, before the establishment of Custom Crimson.
Mahogany is often used for the sides and back, but this model is a rare one that uses flame maple.
It also features Alnico V pickups.
Other materials are solid spruce top, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard.
There are some minor scratches, but nothing that stands out.
There are some minor paint cracks on the body back.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has plenty of room to spare.
The frets have some string marks under the 1st and 2nd strings, but there are no problems with the current setup or playing.
A genuine hard case and certificate of authenticity are included.
