The Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Gold Edition is a stylish model with a standout, premium design for Squier fans who won’t settle for anything ordinary.

Featuring striking gold hardware, an anodized aluminum pickguard, and pearloid block inlays, this Tele—with its bound Indian laurel fingerboard, front plate engraved with “Anniversary,” and gloss finish—truly shines on stage.

Packed with sophisticated, player-friendly features, this commemorative model starts with a slim, comfortable “C”-shaped neck that any player can play with ease.
It is equipped with vintage-style tuning machines, a 3-saddle string-through-body bridge designed for authentic performance and style, and Fender-designed single-coil pickups featuring Alnico 5 magnets that deliver that familiar Tele tone.

As for the condition of this instrument, it appears to have seen very little use; it has few scratches or dents and remains in relatively good condition. However, although currently hidden by the pickguard, there are additional screw holes in the pickguard—likely from a previous replacement. Additionally, due to warping of the pickguard, the pickguard is lifting slightly near the neck joint on the G-string side.
Approximately 80% of the frets remain, and we have confirmed that the truss rod turns 60 degrees in both directions.
