Featuring striking palm tree and “TAKANAKA” inlays on the body, the SG-T2 is Masayoshi Takano’s signature model, which debuted in 1998 and went out of production in 2006.

It features a maple and mahogany body that delivers a high-quality tone across the entire frequency range, original HSH-configuration pickups, the “Rockin’ Magic-Pro III” locking tremolo unit, and an active control system with a master volume knob as well as treble and bass controls.

It produces a versatile sound that is essential for expressing Mr. Takakou’s musical world, which encompasses even Latin and fusion genres.

While there is some slight clouding of the finish on the inside of the cutaway, this instrument is otherwise in good condition, clearly having been carefully cherished by its previous owner as part of their collection.

The neck is in excellent condition, and the frets show almost no wear, making this a great instrument for both playing and collecting.

It comes with the original hard case, tremolo arm, adjustment wrench, and manual.
