DARKRAYは2021年に発表され大きな話題となったMUSICMANとDarkglass社とのコラボレーションによって生まれたモデルです。
DarkglassがDarkRayのために特別に設計した新型の2バンドEQプリアンプを搭載。
このプリアンプは、クリーン、Alpha(ディストーション)、そしてOmega(ファズ)という、非常に個性的で有用なサウンドを持つ3つのモードを備えます。
これらの回路は、オンボードのゲイン・ノブとブレンド・コントロールでミックス可能で、ユーザーの好みに合わせてコントロール可能。
驚くほどのクリーン、わずかなゲイン、そして凶暴なファズ・トーンが、低域を損なうことなく得ることができます。
どのモードにあるかは、照度の高いLEDリングと3ウェイ・レバー・スイッチで確認できます。
そして、今回入荷したモデルの最大のポイントはなんといってもこのカラーリングなのではないのでしょうか。
ド派手なスパークリング・ゴールドは見る角度によって色が異なり、少しピンク色に見えるのも唯一無二なのではないのでしょうか。

DARKRAY is a model created by the collaboration between MUSICMAN and Darkglass, which was announced in 2021 and made a big splash.
It features a new 2-band EQ preamp designed by Darkglass specifically for the DarkRay.
This preamp features three modes with very distinctive and useful sounds: Clean, Alpha (distortion), and Omega (fuzz).
These circuits can be mixed with the onboard gain knob and blend control to suit the user's preference.
Stunning cleans, slight gains, and ferocious fuzz tones can be obtained without sacrificing low frequencies.
Which mode you are in is indicated by an illuminated LED ring and a 3-way lever switch.
The most important point of this new model is its coloring.
The flashy sparkling gold color varies depending on the angle you look at it, and it looks a little pinkish, which we think is unique.
