The refined and reborn StingRay Special, along with the iconic "Natural & Maple Fingerboard," makes its long-awaited debut in Japan!!

The neck features carefully selected roasted maple.
The frets are made of hard stainless steel, and the fingerboard also features roasted maple.

The body is crafted from ash and features pickups equipped with neodymium magnets.
Building on the traditional StingRay sound, it has been upgraded with a new 18V active preamp, providing ample headroom and enabling a wide range of expression—from classic vintage tones to modern, punchy sounds.

The body contour has been made rounder, and a 5-point neck joint has been adopted to enable stress-free playing.
Additionally, the hardware has been redesigned and carefully selected lightweight ash wood has been used to reduce the overall weight.
