The "Majesty" is the result of John Petrucci's unwavering pursuit of performance, playability, and race-inspired design. The Majesty features a through-neck body, high playability in all positions from low to high, in-line control knobs for ease of use, and state-of-the-art digital pickup switching that eliminates pickup switching time lags.
With state-of-the-art technology, versatile performance capabilities, and a sleek, modern feel, the Majesty is the epitome of what a John Petrucci signature model should be.
The body and neck are a very luxurious combination of African mahogany wing maple laminated to a Honduran mahogany through neck. The fingerboard is a chic looking ebony, and the sound fatness, nimbleness, and response are all top class performance. The frets are made of stainless steel for durability and excellent tone production to support your playing.
The pickups are the new model John Petrucci DiMazio Dreamcatcher & Rainmaker pickups, which maximize the tonewood character and John Petrucci's latest tone. The original floating bridge with piezo and gain booster, which are one of the features of JP models, are still there.
It is just so well-balanced and easy to play! Compared to other guitars in the same lineage, the JP is by far the lightest, and its compact head and deep neck make it easy to maneuver on stage! This is one that we recommend to guitarists who don't want to compromise on their playing or performance!

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
