New AZ Prestige model with HSH pickup layout!

The new AZ Prestige, with its eye-catching flamed maple top, has evolved into a more versatile model with the long-awaited HSH pickup layout. It is a Japanese model equipped with the latest specs.

S-TECH WOOD 1pc loated maple neck and fingerboard with AZ-specific Oval C (Oval "C") neck shape
Made of maple treated with "ESTECH", a nitrogen heat treatment technology.
Estec-treated wood is patented in Japan for its shape stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
The finish is an oil finish that gives the guitar neck the look and feel of a well played guitar neck.
The original neck shape was created by measuring and analyzing the neck grips of dozens of guitars from both our own and other companies.
The neck grip is shaped to drop gently from the fingerboard-neck bonding surface to the fingerboard edge, and the fingerboard edge is rounded for a comfortable grip.
The shape is accurately and reliably reproduced by ball milling.
The neck is 42 mm wide at the nut and 57 mm wide at the last fret, with special attention given to the ease of gripping at the low frets and the classical style of playing with the thumb on the back of the neck through the high frets.

Super All Access neck joint and specially designed body contour
The "Super All Access" neck joint is carved at a height difference of 8mm from the back of the body, and the joint with the neck is finished with a spherical surface to achieve high playability.
The cutaway on the bass string side is designed to be shallow, maximizing the surface area between the body and the neck.
The original body shape was designed for a contemporary look.

S-TECH WOOD(エステック･ウッド)ローステッド･メイプル1pcネック & 指板　AZ専用 Oval C(オーヴァル”C”)ネック･シェイプ
窒素加熱処理技術である”エステック処理”されたメイプル材を使用。
エステック処理された木材は形状安定性、反りに対する耐久性、耐水性、温度変化に強いといった特徴を持っており、日本国内で特許技術を取得しています。
また、フィニッシュには弾き込まれたギターのネックの様な質感のオイル･フィニッシュ仕上げを採用しています。
自社･他社問わず数十種類のギターのネック･グリップを計測、分析して完成したオリジナル･ネック形状です。
指板とネックの接着面から指板エッジにかけてなだらかに落とし込むようにシェイピングし、指板エッジを丸めたコンフォート･グリップです。
ボールミル加工によって正確に且つ確実にその形状を再現しています。
ネック幅はナットで42mm、最終フレットで57mmに設定し、ロー･フレット部では握り込みやすさ、ハイ･フレット部にかけては親指をネック裏に置くクラシカル・スタイルでの演奏性を特に配慮した形状となっています。

Super All Access(スーパー･オール･アクセス)ネック･ジョイント、専用デザインのボディ･コンター
ボディ裏面から8mmの高低差で段彫りし、さらにネックとの接合部を球面に仕上げることで高い演奏性を実現した"Super All Access"ネック･ジョイントです。
低音弦側のカッタウェイを浅めに設計しており、ボディとネックとの設地面積を最大化することで、高い演奏性を保持しながらもサスティーンとレゾナンスの良さをも両立しています。
