USED FENDER / 1975 Stratocaster Alder Body/Maple Finger Board White [05]

Fender Stratocaster was born in the 50's and has been loved by many musicians all over the world.

This 1975 Fender Stratocaster was made after Fender was acquired by CBS. The large head has a truss rod adjustable bullet from the head side.
The neck plate has a three-point fastening, and there are many other differences from the Fenders of the 1950s through the mid-1960s.
The body is made of ash, but the one we have just received is made of alder.

The pickups are '75 gray bobbins with flat pole pieces. All three dates are "83675" and are original from '75.

The neck is made of maple, not the "laminated maple" style that was seen in the late 60's, but a one-piece neck made of the same maple as the neck material.
This model is also the last year of the plate serial number, as the serial number is put on the head top after 1975.
The neck date is stamped "0903 3855" and the neck was made in the 38th week of 1973.

The pots are all original with the same date (1377531) and the capacitor is also original with a Circle D. The selector has been replaced.
The selector has been replaced and the wiring material used to connect the pots and jacks has been changed.

The previous owner changed the pegs to Cruson style locking type. The frets have been changed to thicker ones. The nut may not be original.
The body has been modified with a spacer on the 6th string side of the neck pocket to prevent the neck from slipping.
Conductive paint has been applied inside the cavity, and a ground wire has been added to the front pickup. The body back ground wire also remains and is grounded in two places.

The conductive treatment inside the cavity, thicker frets, and the white color of the alder body are all designed with the high-speed guitarist's favorite machine in mind.
