Orville Gibson, the founder of Gibson, started making mandolins in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1894, and established the well-known "Gibson" in 1902.

From the 1920s to the 1930s, the company created various styles of guitars and was the leading brand of archtop guitars from that time.

The Kalamazoo factory operated until 1984, producing a variety of instruments, but due to the expansion of production, the main factory was relocated to Nashville, Tennessee.

At that time, several craftsmen who could not move to the Nashville factory for various reasons and were forced to retire purchased the equipment at the Kalamazoo factory and established "Heritage Guitars".

This new arrival is a guitar made in 1992, an era that strongly reflects the outstanding skills of the craftsmen who were involved in archtop production at the Kalamazoo factory and established "Heritage Guitars" in Kalamazoo.

The body is 17" in size, with solid machined spruce for the top, solid machined maple for the back, and maple for the sides.

The neck is 3-piece maple, ebony fingerboard and bridge, nut width 42mm, 25.5" scale, and floating Bartolini pickups.

The pickups are floating Bartolini pickups. The body has some scratches and dings, and the pickguard binding has been re-glued and the "GOLDEN EAGLE" plate on the tailpiece has been re-glued.

The neck is in good condition to enjoy playing, although it is slightly bent at the waist. The truss rod and adjustable saddle work fine, and the string height can be adjusted to your preference.

The wood is high grade and solid, and the line out sound is amazing, as well as the richness of the live sound.
Rare "Heritage Guitars" from the 90s. Please enjoy the good old sound with the famous "Golden Eagle".
