Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1956 Les Paul Standard Reissue Gold Top VOS in used condition!

The 1956 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS, made in 2022, was in the transitional period when the specifications were changing to those of the modern Les Paul, and has a mix of old and new looks and sounds. 56 had a single-coil P-90 pickup, which was replaced by a humbucker from 1957.

In late '55, the bridge was changed from a stop bar bridge with an integrated tailpiece to a tune-o-matic, which is characterized by the powerful vintage feel of the P-90, the stable sound of the thick neck, and the modern sustain of the tune-o-matic. The straight sound, especially with the front pickup, is superb.

The neck and body are glued with hide glue, and the P-90 pickups are equipped with a powerful attack and firm midrange.

There are some dents and scratches, but it is still in relatively clean condition.

2022年製の本機、1956年モデルは、仕様が現代のレスポールのものへ変わりゆく過渡期にあり、新旧織り交ぜたルックスとサウンドを持ちます。56年モデルのピックアップはシングルコイルであるP-90を搭載。57年からはハムバッカーに変わります。

55年後半より、ブリッジはテイルピース一体型のストップ・バー・ブリッジから、チューン・O・マティックに変更されました。P-90のパワフルなビンテージ感と、太目のネックがもたらす安定感のある鳴り、チューン・O・マティックの現代的なサスティーンが特徴的です。特にフロントピックアップでのストレートなサウンドは極上です。

ネックやボディの接着にはハイドグルー(ニカワ)が採用され、力強いアタックとコシのある中音域が特徴のP-90ピックアップを搭載したLesPaul。力強さと繊細さを兼ね備えた美しい音色で、ピッキングのニュアンスに応じて多彩な表情を見せてくれます。

打痕やキズなどある程度の使用感はございますが、比較的キレイな状態を保っています。
