Early model FYB-70 with Eikichi Yazawa's name on the head is in stock!

The FYB-70, nicknamed the "Biwa Bass" and named after Eikichi Yazawa, the first artist of the FERNANNDES guitar brand, is now in stock! The body color is a rarely seen black finish. The head logo is in Arabic font, and the pegs are Grover USA, the same type used on Rickenbacker basses.
The body and neck are made of maple, the pickups are Jazz Bass type, and the body shape is teardrop, which is a mix of Rickenbacker, Jazz Bass, and VOX. It is a mix of Rickenbacker, Jazz Bass, and VOX, and is the one and only one with the best of both worlds.

There is a 5mm round paint peel on the lower part of the body back, but considering the fact that it is almost 50 years old, it is considered to be well preserved.
Two circular string guides are attached to the head to increase string tension.

General purpose gig case included.

ヘッドに Eikichi Yazawa の名を冠したFYB-70 初期モデル入荷！！

これまでHOTEI や HIDEなど多くのアーティストモデルを発売し、一時代を築いた日本が誇るギターブランドFERNANNDES 、その記念すべき第一号アーティストである矢沢永吉氏の名を冠した「琵琶ベース」の愛称で知られる FYB-70 。しかもボディカラーは殆ど見ることのないブラックフィニッシュ。ヘッドロゴはアラビア書体、ペグはリッケンバッカーにも使用されたグローバーUSA で初期モノの完成度の高さとFERNANDES 社の情熱がが伺えます。
ボディとネックはメイプル、ピックアップジャズベースタイプ、ボディシェイプはティアドロップと、リッケンバッカーとジャズベースとVOXをミックスしたような、「ご本人がリクエストした？と思われる」唯一無二のいいとこ取りの1本です。

ボディバック下部に5ミリほどの丸い塗装剥がれがありますが、50年近く経った個体である事を考えると保存状態は良いと考えてよいでしょう。
弦のテンションを高めるために円形のストリングガイドがヘッド部に2つ取り付けられています。
