The 408 is named for its 3-way selector and mini-switch that allows coil tapping of each pickup, giving the model 8 different sound output patterns with 4 coils.

The body top is made of beautiful 10-top grade maple.
The fretboard is made of Honduran rosewood, making it a special piece.

There was a crack on the head when it first arrived, but it has now been beautifully repaired.
It has also been checked, overall adjusted, and rubbed together by a professional repair person, and is in good playing condition.

The "408" is now out of production.
The 408 pickups provide a great volume balance when switching between rear and front, humbucker and single pickups, allowing you to use a variety of sounds while playing.
