A 1978 Fender Telecaster Refinish has arrived!!

Serial No.: S829269; this is a 1978 model.

The volume pot is confirmed to be a '78 model. While the tone pot cannot be verified, it is likely original. The capacitors and selector switch are also period-correct parts.

Part of the control cavity has been deepened, suggesting that an additional part may have been mounted there at some point. It is likely that the entire guitar was repainted when the cavity was modified. In addition to the overall over-lacquer on the body and neck, the body features countless paint cracks and has a satin-like finish, which is why we’ve labeled this as a “Refinish.”

Although the date cannot be confirmed, the neck pickup features a black bobbin, and the bridge pickup features a gray bobbin.

Although the truss rod is completely loose, playability is currently good. Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.
