A beautiful pre-owned 2001 Master Built Series Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster "Blackie" has just arrived!

This guitar was made by Mark Kendrick, one of the most popular Fender builders of all time.

Mark Kendrick was one of the central figures in the period when master builders began to attract the most attention, and he is still very popular today.
Many people may think of J.W. Black, Mark Kendrick, and Todd Krause when they think of Clapton model builders.

The unit we have just received is missing the certificate of authenticity, but Fender Date has confirmed that it was made in 2001.

Eric Clapton has been called one of the three greatest guitarists in the world, and continues to create a new generation of followers.
His signature models differed from regular Stratocasters in many ways, such as the noise-resistant Race Sensor pickups and the mid-boost on the guitar itself.

The guitar we have just received is one of the Race Sensor period guitars, just before the switch to the noiseless pickups.
The black color, which symbolizes Clapton, is nicknamed "blackie.

There is a very slight picking mark on the pickguard, but overall the guitar shows little use and maintains a clean appearance and good playing condition.

A Fender USA molded hard case of the same age is included.
