The aging master Tom Murphy, who headed the company's aging department for many years, founded his own aging lab in the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee.
The team at Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, has been working with Tom Murphy, the master of aging at Gibson for many years, to develop the best possible aging process.
The guitars are aged by his team using the latest scientifically verified techniques.

The guitar we have just received was modeled after a 1959 ES-335, and is finished in an ultra heavy aged finish!
This guitar is one of the few in the Aged Series, and is rarely available.

The body is made of 3 pieces of maple/poplar/maple. The center block is solid maple with no open rear cavity.
Single-line Cruson pegs, ABR-1 bridge, and long pickguard are characteristic of the '59.
The neck is an Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape, which is thicker and chunkier than the '60 specs.

The guitar shows little signs of use and is in very good condition both externally and playing-wise.

Many of the original accessories are present, including the Marphy Lab Certificate of Authenticity, Pre-Pack Check List with dates, and papers.

同社で長年に渡りエイジングの指揮を取っていたエイジングの巨匠トム･マーフィー。
はテネシー州ナッシュビルのギブソン･カスタムショップ内に設立された自身の名を冠したラボにて
彼の率いるチームが科学的検証に基づく最新の技術を駆使し、ギターのエイジングを行っています。

入荷した個体は1959年製ES-335をモチーフに制作された1本で、なんとウルトラ･ヘビー･エイジド･フィニッシュ！
数あるエイジドシリーズの中でも圧倒的に数が少なく、滅多に入荷することのない仕様となっています。

ボディーはメイプル/ポプラ/メイプルの3ピース構造。センターブロックはリアキャビティの開いていないソリッドメイプル仕様。
59年の特徴でもあるシングルライン･クルーソンペグにABR-1ブリッジ、ロングピックガード。
ネックはAuthentic '59 Medium C-Shapeを採用しており、60年の仕様よりも太くがっちりとしたネックシェイプとなっています。

使用感はほとんど見られず、外観、演奏面共にとても良いコンディションとなっています。

Marphy Lab専用の認定証やデイト記載入りのPre-Pack Check List、ペーパー類など、新品販売当時の付属品も多く揃っています。
