アンサンブルのベースギターやキーボード等が発生する低音域は、ともすればアンサンブルの中に埋もれやすく、またその存在を強調すべく音圧を上げることは、アンサンブルそのもののバランスを崩し、いわゆる”低音がまわる”状況に陥ります。
チューブDIはサウンドに適度なサチュレーションを加えることによりアンサンブルの中で圧倒的なサウンドの存在感を引き出します。
デジタルデバイスが音源の多くを占める現在のアンサンブルで、失われていた楽器力を復元させることがこのD.Iのデザインコンセプトでした。
BASS用チューブDIの代名詞であったAmpeg SVT-DI。その開発に携わっていたObeid Khanの手により理想のサウンドを実現します。

Bass guitars and keyboards in an ensemble tend to be buried in the ensemble, and increasing the sound pressure to emphasize their presence can disrupt the balance of the ensemble itself, leading to what is called a "bass-rounding" situation. The tube DI is a good way to add a moderate amount of bass to the sound.
Tube DIs add just the right amount of saturation to the sound to bring out the overwhelming presence of the sound in the ensemble.
The design concept of the D.I. was to restore the power of the instrument that has been lost in today's ensembles, where digital devices dominate the sound sources.
The Ampeg SVT-DI was synonymous with tube DI for BASS, and Obeid Khan, who was involved in its development, has created the ideal sound.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
Please be patient while we do inter-company transfers on your items. The usual wait time for our shipping is 7 to 10 days worldwide. We are open from 10:00am until 6:00pm (Tokyo time zone)
