Framus was founded in Germany in 1946 and has made its mark on the world music scene as one of Europe's largest guitar makers. From the Beatles era to the present day, Framus guitars have been chosen by top artists such as Paul McCartney and John Lennon because of their unparalleled craftsmanship and innovation.

The brand ceased operations in 1975 due to changes in the market environment.
In 1995, the brand was revived under the Warwick umbrella. The base is located in Markneukirchen, Germany, and the production of Framus brand guitars has resumed, and the lineup now includes both high-end and entry-level models.

This model "Mayfield Legacy" is a semi-hollow guitar that represents Framus' tradition and innovation.
Its construction with a mahogany top and back and maple center block combines warm midrange and clear treble, creating a rich resonance regardless of genre. The set neck and rosewood fingerboard provide smooth playability and rich sustain, giving players a superb feel.

The pickups are Seymour Duncan P-90s for vintage tone and powerful attack.
