Mr. Susumu Tamura, a legendary engineer known worldwide, was a key figure in technical development at Maxon (formerly Nisshin Onpa Seisakusho) from the 1970s through the 2000s.
This #1 Cloning mod series meticulously recreates the tone of a vintage 1980 TS-808 Tube Screamer unit, down to its frequency response and waveform characteristics, by modifying the current TS808 model.

元 日伸音波製作所(Maxon)に1970年代から2000年代まで在籍し、同社の技術開発の要となっていた、世界にその名を知られる伝説のエンジニア“田村進” 氏。
同氏が1980年製のTS-808 Tube Screamerの音色を現行品のTS808をモディファイすることで、サンプルとなったヴィンテージ個体を周波数特性や波形などの詳細まで再現したのが、この#1 Cloning modシリーズです。
