1972-73 Fender Telecaster Factory Bigsby Blonde Refinish Now In Stock!!

Serial number 378597, neck date 3DEC72X, this instrument was made between 1972 and 1973.

The neck was manufactured around December 1972 (3DEC72X). The 'X' section is likely a 'B', but it's nearly faded and unconfirmable. The finish was refinished during nut and fret replacement, with over-lacquer extending to the neck back. The headstock top retains its original finish.

The body is a late-72 model without an extra cavity, retaining the cutout for the neck pocket. It has been refinished in the same blonde color.

The pickups have been replaced: front (likely Custom Shop), rear (Custom Shop). The pots, selector switch, and capacitor have also been replaced.

While there are some dents and scratches, playability is excellent. Enjoy the distinctive, cutting-through Telecaster sound.

While it has seen some work with numerous replacement parts and a refinish, making it less suited for collectors, it's a guitar built to be played hard.
