RX OVERDRIVERはCOLORSOUND/OVERDRIVERを再現したモデルで、後にリイシューされましたがこちらは1990年代に発売されたモデル。
基本的にはブースターですが、DRIVEノブをフルにすると、途端にファズ・サウンドになります。
そのファズは非常にぶっとく魅力的です。
かなり歪みますが、ピッキングの強弱にも敏感に反応し、ギターのボリュームを絞るとクリーンなサウンドにもなります。
今回入荷の個体は、おそらくモディファイかと思われますがLED有り(青)、ACアダプター対応、電池駆動は非対応という仕様になっております。

We have a used PRESCRIPTION ELECTRONICS / RX OVERDRIVER in stock.
The RX OVERDRIVER is a model that recreates the COLORSOUND/OVERDRIVER; while it was later reissued, this is the model released in the 1990s.
It functions primarily as a booster, but when you turn the DRIVE knob all the way up, it instantly transforms into a fuzz sound.
That fuzz is incredibly thick and captivating.
It distorts quite heavily, but it responds sensitively to picking dynamics, and turning down the guitar’s volume produces a clean sound.
The unit we’ve received this time appears to have been modified; it features a blue LED, is compatible with an AC adapter, and does not support battery operation.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
