The 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue is the ultimate embodiment of the 1959 original—a perfect clone that brings together the pinnacle of technology accumulated by the Custom Shop since 1993. From data obtained by scanning vintage instruments to replica parts recreated through material composition analysis, and even the reproduction of the iconic sunburst variations, this guitar represents the highest level of craftsmanship.

The body features a two-piece maple top and a one-piece mahogany back, while the neck is made of solid mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. The set neck features a deep joint (long tenon) and is glued using hide glue.

The aged hardware includes Kluson Single Line/Single Ring tuners, a non-wired ABR-1 bridge, and a lightweight aluminum stop bar, along with other historic parts.

The neck shape is the “Authentic ’59 Medium C-Shape” with moderate thickness; the frets are “Historic Medium-Jumbo”; and it features rolled binding to replicate the look of a well-played guitar, offering outstanding playability.

It is equipped with two “Custombucker (Unpotted)” pickups using Alnico 3 magnets, hand-wired with Luxe Bumblebee replica capacitors and CTS pots.

This guitar comes close to vintage models not only in appearance but also in sound. Since it’s an “Ultra Heavy Aged” model, it’s difficult to determine the origin of any scratches, but it remains in beautiful condition with minimal signs of use. Of course, playability—including the truss rod—is excellent.
