A used Fender Custom Shop / 1959 Telecaster Journeyman Relic Faded Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst has just arrived!!

Serial No.: R79334; this guitar was manufactured in 2014.

The body is made of ash, and the neck is flame maple. The fingerboard is rosewood. The Faded Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst finish is incredibly cool and features a burst pattern that’s quintessentially ’59. It also features the Journeyman Relic treatment, which recreates the character of a well-played guitar, giving it an authentic look as if it had been played for many years—another key highlight.

The pickups bear Josefina Campos’ signature. I believe they are hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups made by Josefina Campos, though I don’t have specific details.

The electronics have not been modified in any way, and I believe everything is original.

Due to the relic finish, it’s difficult to assess the presence of scratches and other marks, but the guitar is in relatively good condition. Of course, playability is excellent, including the truss rod.
