The 2021 Time Machine Collection! A 2022 Fender Custom Shop model has just arrived as a used guitar in excellent condition!

This bass features a “Faded Aged Sea Form Green” finish—a somewhat rare color for a bass. It pairs perfectly with the anodized pickguard! The result is a look that’s both cute and subtly sophisticated.

The materials include a two-piece alder body with a lacquer finish and a one-piece, quarter-sawn maple neck in the 60s P-Bass “Oval C” shape, finished with nitrocellulose lacquer. The fingerboard radius is a slightly wider 9.5, and it’s equipped with 20 Medium Jumbo/6150 frets—now a standard feature on recent Fender models.
Perhaps its most distinctive feature is that while the entire guitar is finished in the “Journeyman Relic” style, only the back of the neck is finished in “Heavy Relic.” This meticulously recreates the atmosphere of an instrument that has been both cherished and thoroughly played. You’ll also experience a comfortable feel when it comes to playability.
It’s equipped with a Hand-Wound ’62 P-Bass pickup. It delivers a fat yet well-defined tone, making it exceptionally versatile as a P-Bass.

It appears to have been stored away and hardly played, so it’s in excellent condition. There’s no visible fret wear, nor any signs that the truss rod has ever been adjusted.
If you open the joint, you’ll see some wear marks on the side of the neck heel—but that’s just the nature of anodized pickguards.
