Pre Ernie Ball 直前の1983年製 Stingray ジョイントプレートのみ交換されておりますが、全体的なコンディションは良好で入荷!
4ボルトジョイント&トップロードのまさに最後のPre EB の1本。
Stingray という楽器を語るには非常に重要な過渡期モデルであり、当個体のようなコンディションが良好な物は少なくなってきています。フレットに関してはおそらく打ち直されており、最もウィークポイントとなるトラスロッドに不安要素は見られません。ポットデイトはボリューム13781 、トレブル 1378226、ベースは判定不可ですが交換跡は見られません。ピックアップ、その他の電気系パーツは交換されておりません。
ボディは若干重量を感じるアッシュでサーバーストフィニッシュ、指板はローズウッドとなります。

A 1983 Stingray from just before the Ernie Ball era—only the joint plate has been replaced, but it’s in excellent overall condition and just arrived!
This is one of the very last Pre-EB models featuring a 4-bolt joint and top-loading design.
This is a transitional model that is crucial to understanding the history of the Stingray, and examples in such good condition as this one are becoming increasingly rare. The frets have likely been refretted, and there are no concerns regarding the truss rod, which is typically the weakest point. The pot dates are: Volume 13781, Treble 1378226; the Bass pot date is unreadable, but there are no signs of it having been replaced. The pickups and other electronic components have not been replaced.
The body is made of ash with a sunburst finish and feels slightly heavy, while the fingerboard is rosewood.
