A 2015 Gibson Japan Limited Run Firebird Non-Reverse has arrived!!

The Firebird was designed in 1963 by car designer Raymond Dietrich.
Since the prevailing shape for solid-body guitars at the time featured a protruding left horn, the Firebird was introduced with a deliberately “reverse” shape to go against the grain. However, in 1965, the Non-Reverse model—which reversed the original shape—was introduced, and the instrument we’ve just received is a Japan-exclusive model that reproduces this Non-Reverse shape.

A major difference from the standard Firebird is that the neck joint has been changed to a traditional set neck, and Rotomatic tuners have been adopted instead of banjo-style tuners.

While there are signs of general wear—such as scratches, dents, and exposed wood due to chipped paint—the guitar has been inspected and fully adjusted by a professional repair technician since its arrival and is in excellent playing condition.

It comes with the original hard case, a Pre-Pack Checklist with the date noted, photos, and documentation.
