USED PRS SE / SE Silver Sky [05]

The PRS SE Silver Sky has arrived.

The SE series offers excellent value for the price. Like the original model, the headstock is designed with John Mayer’s playing style in mind, featuring a curved design with extra clearance on the G-string side to prevent fingers from hitting the headstock. It also incorporates a unique tuning peg layout to further enhance tuning stability.

The neck is a 635JM specification (the “635” refers to 63.5 years, representing the period between 1963 and 1964), modeled after the shape of vintage guitars from those years.
It features a rosewood fingerboard, a bolt-on neck, 22 frets, a 25.5-inch scale, and “Small Birds”—a scaled-down version of PRS’s signature bird inlays.
In pursuit of playability and balance for a wider range of players, the fingerboard radius has been changed from the US model’s 7.25” to 8.5”.

The SE SILVER SKY-exclusive 635JM “S” single-coil pickups, like those on the US model, produce a sound with a rich midrange, characterized not only by a thick, lustrous clean tone but also by a sound with bite and attack when distorted.

While there are signs of use, such as minor scratches and slight dents, the guitar was inspected and fully adjusted by a professional technician upon arrival and is in excellent playing condition.
