The 22-fret neck, featuring binding, is moderately thick to enhance tone and sustain. It features a two-piece bridge with a brass saddle and steel studs,a bone nut, and PRS Phase III tuners with brass shafts—all core specifications of the McCarty 594. In addition, it now features the newly equipped McCarty III, inspired by vintage guitars, which produces a warm, rich vintage sound.

Furthermore, the combination of a push/pull tone knob for coil tapping and a 3-way toggle switch enables a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities.

The McCarty III pickup embodies all the know-how that Paul Reed Smith and the PRS new product engineering team have cultivated in recent product development—from extensive research on vintage pickups to sound analysis and improvements in tuning technology.

The neck profile is Pattern Vintage.

Although there is some patina on the parts, along with very slight dents and scuffs, the guitar shows minimal signs of use and remains in excellent condition. Of course, playability is excellent, including the truss rod.
