Used Jaguar with Candy Apple Red matching head and well-worn style is in stock!
This model, made in 2000, is listed as "Export version for Yamano" in the manufacturer's data, and is probably a special model ordered by Yamano Gakki. It seems to have originally had a tortoiseshell guard specification, but it has now been replaced with a white one.

It is a '62 style with an alder body, maple neck, and slabbed rose fingerboard. The neck has been adjusted with non-original paper shims sandwiched between.
Two Special Design Single-Coil pickups, different from the usual Amebin, are installed, but details are unknown. All three capacitors for tone, preset circuit, and low cut have been replaced.

The mute mechanism, characteristic of Jaguars, has been removed. The mute mechanism is included, but the sponge is deteriorated and needs to be replaced.
The first string peg is lighter than other pegs.
The frets and nut have been replaced, and the fingerboard edge has been slightly shaved and rounded.

The overall appearance of the instrument is in good condition.
The most noticeable point is that the logo on the head is missing, although it is unclear whether it was removed due to scraping or intentionally.
Although there is no logo on the head, we believe it is original and not a combination of different necks, judging from the description of the neck date, paint work marks, serial number, and so on.
The back of the neck has some paint peeling and stand burns due to use.
There are many scratches, dents, and paint chips on the head and body as a whole, and the lower part of the body has a burnt stand and tape marks that may have been used to hold the strap in place.
The head and neck have been over-lacquered. The body is also likely to have been over-lacquered.

There is rust and tarnish on the other metal parts, making it a player's condition item.
It has been cleaned and adjusted after arrival and has no playing problems.
The sound does not betray its war-worn looks, and has a crisp tone with just the right amount of fatness. If you are looking for a rare CAR with matching head, please don't hesitate to get it!
